People in Hyderabad and its surrounding parts are feeling the impact of the intense summer heat from the last few days. All urban districts of Telangana – Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri and Rangareddy – are recording maximum temperatures over 40°C from the second week of April.
Either people avoid getting off in the afternoon or reach their destination as early as possible. Those who have no choice but to be in the bright sun are intoxicated by the heat. A slight drop in maximum temperatures was observed in Hyderabad on Monday. On Tuesday (April 21, 2026) in the morning, clouds covered the sun, which appeared around 8:30 a.m.
