
Candidates who qualified for the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) Assistant Professor Examination 2017-2018 alleged discrimination in the handling of recruitment related proceedings and urged the state government to ensure justice for them.
Speaking to The Hindu on Tuesday (April 21, 2026), APPSC Qualified Candidates Association General Secretary K. Srinivasulu said that during 2014-2019, the then government had approved the filling of 1,385 teaching posts in 14 state universities, including 110,189 associate professors and associate professors. on the recommendation of a high-powered committee led by prof. CV Raghavul.
