MS Swaminathan Rice Research Station, Moncompu, has been awarded the Best Center under All India Coordinated Research Projects (AICRP) at Rice for the year 2025, in recognition of its outstanding overall performance and successful implementation of multidisciplinary experiments. In addition, the center was recognized as the Best AICRP Center for Agronomy and the Best AICRP Center for Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry for the year 2025. The awards were presented during the 61st annual meeting of the Rice Group held at ICAR-Central Rice Research Institute, Cuttack, Odisha.
