The Madras High Court on Tuesday (April 21, 2026) dismissed a case filed by Hatsun Agro Product Limited, owners of the popular milk brand ‘Arokya’, to stop Patanjali Biscuits Private Limited from selling biscuits under the ‘Patanjali Aarogya’ brand.
A division bench of P. Velmurugan and K. Govindarajan Thilakavadi dismissed the original cross-appeal filed by Hatsun in 2020 against the summary dismissal of its trademark infringement suit against Patanjali by a single judge of the Supreme Court on 7 February 2020.
