HYDERABAD
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has said his government is determined to atone for the ‘disservice’ done by the previous K. Chandrashekhar Rao government on the Kaleshwaram projects by embarking on repairs to the three damaged dams to bring them back into use by the people as huge public money is involved.
The state government has taken the help of multi-agency experts at the national and state levels to find the root cause of the failure of the structures so that they can be repaired and rehabilitated with a specific strategy and action plan, the Chief Minister said after visiting the Medigadda Barrage of the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project (KLIP) in Jayashankar-Bhupalapally along with the Chairman of the National Safety Authority (NDSA) from the Daminet Safety Authority on Monday evening.
