Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, Deputy Secretary General Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK)on Sunday (April 19, 2026) alleged that the proposed Women’s Reservation Act was being used as a political tool to dilute representation, especially of southern states.
Campaigning for MH Jawahirullah, the candidate of the DMK-led alliance from Nagapattinam, she addressed voters near the Nellukadai Mariamman temple, seeking support for the alliance.
