Nara Bhuvaneswari presents a check of ₹76 lakh for donation to Anna Canteens in the presence of her husband and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at the CM’s camp office on Sunday.
Nara Bhuvaneswari donated ₹ 76 lakh to Anna Canteens on April 19 (Sunday) on the eve of her husband and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s birthday (April 20). The money will be used for free meals at 269 Anna canteens across the state.
Ms. Bhuvaneswari said that Anna Canteens are benefiting millions of poor people by providing them food security with dignity and noted that the government provides food at just ₹5 in a clean and hygienic environment through these canteens.
