Handicrafts are part of our rich heritage and there is a need to preserve the legacy of the 400-year-old craft of Kondapalli toy making for future generations, said District Collector NTR G. Lakshmisha.
After inaugurating ‘Kondapalli Bommala Panduga’ at Kondapalli Toys Experience Center on the occasion of World Heritage Day on Saturday (April 18, 2026), the Collector said that the district administration and tourism department are working together to ensure that the traditional craft is preserved and gets global recognition.
