Calling President and Chief Minister MK Stalin his “brother”, Congress president and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Saturday said the Congress never attacked, threatened or exploited the DMK in Tamil Nadu when the national party was in power in Delhi.
He was in Ranipet district to campaign for Congress candidate AM Munirathinam for the Sholinghur Assembly constituency in the presence of Tamil Nadu Congress Committee President K. Selvaperunthagai, All India Congress Committee in-charge of Tamil Nadu Girish Chodankar and Minister for Handlooms and Textiles R. Gandhi, who is also the DMK candidate for the Ranipet Assembly seat.
