Manipur Chief Minister Y. Khemchand Singh said on Saturday (April 18, 2026) that law and order in the state remained sensitive but under control. CM Singh said this after holding a meeting with Assam Rifles IGAR (South) at the State Secretariat in Imphal.
“Major General Gaurav Sharma’s IGAR (South) briefing at the Secretariat today (April 18, 2026) reaffirmed that the law and order situation in the state is sensitive but under control, with security forces responding to all disturbances with utmost caution and restraint,” the chief minister said on Facebook.
