Speaking after the match, Rahane admitted that it is never easy to come straight after a loss, but insisted on highlighting the positives of KKR’s effort with the bat. “I just want to talk positively, especially the way we started two to three goals down. The major clarification came when Rahane explained Cameron Green’s absence with the ball. “He was actually struggling with cramps. That’s why he was on and off the field as well. So that’s why he wasn’t throwing,” he confirmed. Rahane also acknowledged GT’s dominance, especially Gill’s innings, noting that KKR needed early wickets in the powerplay but failed to deliver.
