GUWAHATI
A team of researchers has described a new species of bent gecko from Tripura, expanding the herpetofauna in the Northeast.
The researchers named the new species, Cyrtodactylus jayadityai, after their herpetological mentor Jayaditya Purkayastha of Assam.
