Bangalore Milk Union Limited (BAMUL) president and Congress president DK Suresh on Tuesday said delimitation of Lok Sabha and Assembly constituencies would not only reduce the number of seats for the south Indian states but also lead to severe economic hardship.
Addressing the media in Bengaluru, Mr. Suresh said, “Southern states must wake up. It is not important whether they win or lose seats.” He was replying to a question regarding the Prime Minister’s claim that delimitation will not result in loss of seats for South India.
