Mohan Kumar Danappa, member of the Karnataka State Police Complaints Bureau, has written to the Director General and Inspector General of Police (DG & IGP) Karnataka, urging strict action against rising cases of under-age driving during summer vacations.
In his letter, Mr. Danappa pointed out that minors operating vehicles have become rampant across the state, especially during holidays. He noted that many underage drivers lack awareness of the rules of the road and the legal consequences, posing a serious risk to themselves and the public.
