Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday (April 15, 2026) said that once the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) comes to power in West Bengalwill address the issues of Gurkhas living in Darjeeling as a priority under the Constitution.
Mr. Shah also promised to withdraw all cases registered against community leaders and workers for violent agitations in the past.
