Collector Himanshu Shukla launched the ‘Palle Veekshanam’ (village tour) program to observe the implementation of the government’s welfare and development programs at the ground level. As part of this initiative, he visited Nabbi Nagaram and Boyila Chiruvella villages in Atmakur mandal of SPSR Nellore district on Wednesday.
Talking about Palle Veekshanam, he said, “This program was started mainly to directly interact with the people, find out their problems and solve them immediately. Every week one village is visited at the field level to see if the government schemes are being implemented transparently and to review the performance of the officials.”
