YSR Congress leader and former MP Margani Bharat on Tuesday accused the ruling coalition of trying to divert public attention from former Chief Minister and YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Machilipatnam–Vijayawada–Guntur (MAVIGUN) proposal by misrepresenting party MP Mithun Reddy’s statements.
Addressing the media at the party headquarters in Tadepalli, Mr. Bharat alleged that Minister Kolusu Parthasarathy had made “derogatory and misleading” remarks against the YSRCP. He said the MP’s statement reflected the commitment of the party leadership and willingness to sacrifice for the state and the nation, but it was wrongly portrayed in a negative light.
