Ahead of a three-day special session of Parliament to amend the Women’s Reservation Act, 2023 to implement it before the next Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday (April 13, 2026) expressed hope that it would be achieved through “dialogue, cooperation and participation”.
India was about to make one of the biggest decisions of the 21st century, Mr. Modi said while addressing a women’s conference on Law, the Nari Shakti Vandan Sammelan.
