
A special investigation team constituted by the Kozhikode city police on Sunday (April 12) brought Vineesh Vinod, an accused in the Drishya murder case who escaped from the government mental health center in Kuthiravattam, to Kozhikode in December last year. Vineesh, who was arrested from his hideout in Mumbai on April 11, was brought to the Kozhikode Medical College police station for further questioning.
Police sources said the help of the Maharashtra police has been sought to trace the accused. They said his location was being tracked after he recently tried to contact a friend.
