The white-banded vulture, which has been radio-tagged by the Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS), is being monitored by the forest department at the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve (MTR).
Officials said the bird was radio-tagged in December 2025 at Tadoba – Andhari Tiger Reserve and released. He then reached Kalaburagi in Karnataka where he was captured and treated.
