Dairy farmers in the state are saddened by the lack of attention given to key issues affecting them.
In its manifesto, the DMK has promised farmers that the procurement price will be increased by ₹5 per litre. However, according to MG Rajendran, general secretary of the Tamil Nadu Milk Producers Association (TNMPWA), AIADMK, NTK and TVK have not stated their stand on the issue in their manifestos.
