The Civil Supplies Department said on Saturday that a special force unit in charge of three southern districts seized more than 600 LPG cylinders from a location near Attingal in the district. According to an official statement, the bottles were stored without proper authorization.
The raid was carried out as part of enforcement actions aimed at curbing the black market and hoarding of LPG cylinders amid the current shortage.
