Fr. Biju John Vellakkada has been re-elected for a second term as the Provincial of the Congregation of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), St. Thomas Province, Kozhikode.
A native of Malom in Kasaragod, Fr. Biju previously served as the Principal of Silver Hills School, Kozhikode. Along with the new provincial, four new secretaries and a new auditor were also appointed, the press release said.
