Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary on Friday (April 10, 2026) ordered an inquiry into how “suspended officials continue to work” in the Ministry of Geology and Mines.
Mr. Choudhary, who visited the mining authority headquarters in Jammu, said the officers he suspended were “still working” and described the incident as “shocking”.
