Congress leader and Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Thursday (April 9, 2026) hit out at Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) president C. Joseph Vijay, calling him an “immature politician”.
Mr Shivakumar’s comments came against the backdrop of Mr Vijay’s claim at a public meeting in Tirunelveli on Wednesday (April 8, 2026) that a section of the Congress party had been “bought” by the DMK, while the “real Congress” was with the TVK.
