A shocking incident at Kakatiya Medical College (KMC) in Warangal has resulted in disciplinary proceedings against seven third-year MBBS students who were found guilty of physically and verbally abusing their juniors in the boys’ hostel.
University director Dr. Sandhya Sunkaraneni confirmed the development and said the matter was brought to the notice of the authorities based on a complaint received through the University Grants Commission’s (UGC) anti-malpractice helpline. The college’s anti-ragging committee subsequently launched a detailed investigation into the allegations.
