The Bihar lad unleashed six-hit mayhem and struck fear among bowlers and opposition teams alike. More importantly, he continues to deliver on the promises he makes.Rajasthan Royals were in a must-win situation against the already relegated Lucknow Super Giants side after suffering three consecutive defeats. We had those matches. I was watching him and he was under a lot of pressure. Even today when he batted for 220, there was a lot of tension and stress on his face. But today I believed that today I will get my game back and improve (actually, things were not going well on his face. Even today we were losing tension,” we were losing. Sooryavanshi said.“That, I told him, ‘It’s going to happen.’ Not a very big score by this wicket. There is no need to undergo tension,” he said.The 15-year-old opener has already smashed 53 sixes this season, leaving him just six short of Chris Gayle’s record of 59 maximums in a single edition of the IPL.In the process, the teenage prodigy became the first Indian batsman in IPL history to hit 50 sixes in a single season.He also became the youngest player in the tournament’s history to reach 500 runs and holds the highest batting average in IPL history with 500+ runs at 236.3.
