US President Donald Trump has recently missed several high-profile appearances, including a key Easter Sunday event. Speculation regarding his health surfaced on social media soon after, raising questions about health issues that may have played a role in keeping the 79-year-old on the sidelines and out of the Easter Sunday event.
Although the White House says the MAGA chief is in good health and denied the rumors doing the rounds, Trump continued his strong rhetoric against Iran on Sunday when he issued a stinging threat.
In a social media post on his Truth Social Hand, Trump wrote: “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day and Bridge Day all rolled into one in Iran. Nothing like it!!! Open the Fuckin’ Strait you crazy bastards or live in hell – JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah.”
Doubts about the US president’s health have been dismissed after he was reportedly spotted near the Trump National Golf Club after deciding to skip Easter events. It is important to note that Trump’s last public appearance was on April 1st.
In fact, the White House released an update on X about Trump’s scheduled press conference today. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said: “Due to popular press demand, President Trump’s press conference tomorrow will be held in the White House briefing room. 1:00 PM ET.” She made this statement in reference to the rescue of 2 American pilots from Iran
Why did Donald Trump skip Easter events?
On Sunday, an X-wave was flooded with speculation, with users claiming that Donald Trump had been taken to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, after missing Easter services. The Trump administration issued a statement denying the rumor.
In a post on X, White House Communications Director Steven Cheung put the speculation straight: “There has never been a president who has worked harder for the American people than President Trump.” He added: “He worked around the clock in the White House and the Oval Office this Easter weekend. God bless him.”
The White House’s Rapid Response 47 account also posted a statement dismissing the viral claims: “Deranged liberals create crazy conspiracy theories when @POTUS goes 12 hours without talking to the press.”
According to media reports, Trump’s motorcade was spotted around Washington and was photographed leaving the Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia. The US president looked “visibly stooped” as he returned to the Oval Office wearing a gold outfit after missing Easter services.
From swollen ankles and bruised hands to difficulty navigating stairs, visible signs have raised concerns about his health in the past.
