State Home Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar paid rich tributes to former Deputy Prime Minister Babu Jagjivan Ram as a great leader who dedicated his entire life to the cause of social justice.
While garlanding the statue of Baba Jagjivan Ram on the occasion of his 119th birth anniversary in Karimnagar on Sunday, Mr. Sanjay said, “Jagjivan Ram dedicated his life to the upliftment of the downtrodden and marginalized.”
“He lived by three basic ideals – to overcome hardships, stand up for the weaker sections of society and consider service to the nation as the highest duty. He remained committed to these principles throughout his life,” remarked Mr. Sanjay.
