
Nita Ambani’s shared a heartfelt moment with husband Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Industries, during the third anniversary celebrations of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center (NMACC) on Friday, April 3. The candid moment where she cuddles up to her husband to pose for photos was caught on camera.
After her NMACC keynote address, the Reliance Foundation chairperson, dressed in a traditional zari sari and neckerchief, looked to her side and started walking towards someone off-camera. With a huge smile on her face, she gracefully approached her husband Mukesh Ambani and led her to where the paparazzi were eagerly waiting to take pictures of India’s richest couple.

Dressed elegantly, the 62-year-old philanthropist began her speech by saying, “Namaskar, aap sabko NMACC may swagat hai (Namaskar, everyone, welcome to NMACC. The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center has completed three glorious years today.”
She indicated that the number “three” is very auspicious in Indian culture, saying, “We have our Trimurti Brahma Vishnu Mahesh, the three Devis, Ma Saraswati, Ma Lakshmi and Ma Kali. We also have Triveni, Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati.” Sharing her vision for NMACC, she said, “When we started the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center, we promised to bring the best of India to the world and to bring the best of the world to India. And we are trying our best to fulfill that promise.”

Guests at the NMACC Gala
The high profile extravaganza was attended by several Bollywood stars including Shahid Kapoor and his wife Meera Kapoor, Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi, Riteish Deshmukh and his wife Genelia Deshmukh, Siddharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, Ranveer Singh, Salman Khan,j Sonolali Sunet and Ana Kapo Panday.
Apart from film industry celebrities, AR Rahman, Sachin Tendulkar and his wife Anjali Tendulkar, his daughter Sara Tendulkar and his daughter-in-law Saaniya Chandhok attended the star-studded event.
She concluded the speech by thanking you: “Thank you once again as we celebrate our third anniversary and thank you all for supporting Indian heritage and Indian culture. May the legacy of India spread far and wide. Thank you. Jai Shree Krishna.”

Inaugurated three years ago, the cultural center hosts several performances, workshops, dance performances, screenings, musicals, plays, crafts and art galleries in its 2,000-seat Grand Theatre, Studio Theatre, Cube, Art House, Public Art, Dhirubhai Ambani Square and Swadesh hall. Located in Mumbai, it is described as “a first-of-its-kind, multi-disciplinary cultural space in the realm of arts. Conceived by Nita M Ambani, it aims to preserve and promote India’s rich art, culture and heritage through various art forms.”
