The Telangana Waqf Board (TGWB) is working to list over 6,700 Muslim endowment properties on the UMEED portal, according to sources.
The Board, through its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mohammed Asadullah, recently moved the Waqf Tribunal seeking further extension of the deadline for the UMEED portal to upload, review and approve properties for final listing.
With the extension of the Waqf Tribunal grant till June 5, TGWB sources expressed confidence that the list of over 6,700 properties would be completed in time. Officials stressed that there was no special drive and that work was continuing as usual.
