
“In most cases, it is still an upfront payment. There may be cases of day credit with big retailers, but not all are getting it,” said Marri Amarender Reddy, general secretary, UPDA. “Especially in rural areas, this is a concern for smaller petrol stations. The government’s announcement of the three-day credit effort is a welcome step and OMCs should officially inform retailers of the renewal of the credit policy.”
