A content creator from New York went viral when he undertook an unusual travel challenge – flying over 15 hours to India for a trip that lasted barely a day, all to visit the iconic Taj Mahal.
Creator Kevin Droniak is known for documenting extremely short road trips, often exploring destinations around the world in a limited 24-hour window. However, his most recent trip to India attracted particular attention due to the sheer scale of the travel compared to the time spent on the ground.
15 hours flight, night escape to Agra
Kevin’s journey began with a long-haul flight from New York to Delhi that took approximately 15 hours. He landed in the capital around 9.30 pm on March 21 and without wasting time started by road to Agra.

The overnight drive from Delhi to Agra took about four hours and Kevin reached his destination around 2 am. After resting for a few hours at the hotel, he started his day early to make the most of his limited time in the city.
His primary goal was to see the Taj Mahal at sunrise—a time when many travelers plan entire tours around the area. Sharing glimpses of his visit on Instagram, Kevin described the monument as a “giant symbol of love” and one of the world’s most famous landmarks.
Street Food, ‘Baby Taj’ and the race against time
Apart from the Taj Mahal, Kevin was also trying to soak up more of Agra in his busy schedule. He took an e-rickshaw ride through the city, tasted local North Indian food and experienced the bustling streets.
With a few more hours to go before he headed back, he visited the tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, often referred to as the ‘Baby Taj’, adding another historic stop to his whirlwind journey.
However, his return journey did not go as planned. Kevin discovers that his train back to Delhi has been cancelled, throwing his schedule into limbo. With limited time before his return flight to the United States, he quickly arranged a taxi and traveled back to the airport by road.
“Would you do it?” The Internet Responds
Despite the hiccups, Kevin managed to complete the journey and board the flight back home. In his video about the experience, he joked, “India tried to keep me here, but it’s time to go home,” before asking the audience if they would attempt a similar one-day international trip.
The video quickly gained attention online, surpassing six million views in a day and generating a flood of reactions. While some viewers were impressed by the planning and perseverance required, others questioned the practicality of such a short visit.
Comments ranged from calling the idea “clinically insane” to praising the creator’s dedication to his unique travel format. The user wrote: “This may be the craziest you yet.”
Another user commented: “This has got to be the best video yet. Seriously so beautifully done. I love how you bring out the atmosphere of each location!”
Several users also wondered how he managed to cope with jet lag and fatigue during such a busy itinerary.
User wrote: “How do you sleep on a plane and manage jet lag? Unbelievable!”
The video points to a growing trend among content creators to favor extreme, fast travel for digital audiences. While such trips may not appeal to regular travelers, they continue to spark curiosity — and debate — online.
