Sunrisers Hyderabad boast a formidable top order with Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Travis Head, but their bowling attack looks vulnerable in the absence of Pat Cummins. The Australian captain is yet to regain full match fitness and missed the opening match where SRH failed to defend a total of 201 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
Cummins has since resumed bowling in the nets and is targeting a mid-tournament comeback, but for now SRH have to cope without their leader. In the opening match, players like Nitish Kumar Reddy, Jaydev Unadkat, Harshal Patel and Eshan Malinga struggled to keep the opposition at bay.
