Seven persons have been arrested by the Chandanagar police for allegedly cheating and trespassing on government land following an investigation into a large-scale forgery to acquire land meant for public use.
The accused have been identified as Neruti Niranjan, N. Venu Kumar, M. Kranthi Kumar, Raju Ravi Selvaraj, Syed Yousuf, Md Azher Ali and Madham Suman.
