A man feared death in Krishna in Bagalkot

A man feared dead when a dump truck fell into the Krishna river near Kolhar village in Bagalkot district on Thursday.

The driver of the vehicle was Santosh Koti of Bennur village. He drove his vehicle over the parapet wall while trying to overtake a car on the bridge. The vehicle fell face down into the river.

However, 28-year-old cleaner Sanja Mulagi was rescued by fishermen.

Police and members of the HZS are searching for the driver.

Meanwhile, the car driver and commuters flee.
