Artificial intelligence skills are essential for modern teaching, says expert

A workshop on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) tools into teaching methods was organized on Saturday at Dr. Lankapalli Bullayya Engineering College under a joint initiative of Jana Vignana Vedika and Pragya Resources.

Inaugurating the workshop, G. Madhukumar, Secretary and Correspondent, LB Colleges, said that teachers should adopt modern teaching practices by using artificial intelligence tools effectively. He noted that artificial intelligence has become an integral part of contemporary education and emphasized the need to train teachers in this technology.

K. Harshavardhan, managing director of BotClub Private Limited, said AI will not replace teachers, but those who do not use AI tools risk being left behind.

The workshop was presided over by N. Chandrasekhar, Course Coordinator and Honorary President of Jana Vignana Vedika, Visakhapatnam District. The program was attended by Deepak Choudhary, Director Dr. LB Engineering College, and ISV Resources Manjula and Dandu Ganesh.

Around 130 teachers attended the workshop, which focused on using artificial intelligence tools to prepare presentations, lesson plans, assignments and worksheets. At the end of the program, certificates were presented to the participants.
