The Indian men’s cricket team is scheduled to play a three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe this July. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the schedule on Wednesday, with the matches to be played on July 23, 25 and 26.
The opening match of the Zimbabwe tour is scheduled just four days after India play their final match on the tour of England. The white-ball teams will travel to England in July for five T20Is and three ODIs, a series that will play a key role in shaping the combinations for the 2027 ODI World Cup.

While the ODI and T20I setups are largely separate, key players like Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh continue to feature in both formats. Bumrah is widely expected to miss the bilateral T20Is this season, but the same may not be true for the likes of Axar Patel.
This will also mark India’s return to Zimbabwe after two years. The team last toured the African country in July 2024, a series in which Abhishek Sharma, Dhruv Jurel and Riyan Parag made their India debuts. Several young players are expected to be in the squad for the upcoming tour, with the management likely to reward Indian Premier League performers.
