Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa announced on Wednesday that the e-commerce platform has launched its service at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA). This initiative makes it the first airport in the world to provide express business services.
At which CSMIA terminal can passengers access Blinkit delivery?
Blinkit delivery will be available exclusively in Terminal 2, allowing passengers to order more than 2,500 products through the app. Orders will be delivered on foot within the terminal by dedicated staff, ranging from phone chargers and books to gifts.
Eternal, the parent company of Zomato and Blinkit, CEO Albinder Dhindsa shared the update in a post on X: “Today we are launching Blinkit at the Mumbai airport! Specifically Terminal 2 (Domestic Departures) of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. Thanks to our partnership with Adani Airport, passengers can now order gifts and other products from their B2link500+ phone like B2link50+ books. The app will delivered within the terminal by our dedicated team of walkers.”
Urging its customers to update their Blinkit app to the latest version upon ordering, he added: “This is the first airport in the world to have a service of this kind and we are excited to cater to all of our customers’ last minute needs.”

Amazon Cuts Seller Referral Fees Amid Competition From Blinkit, Instamart
Amazon has slashed seller referral fees amid competition from Eternal’s Blinkit and Swiggy’s Instamart. The new structure, which came into effect on March 16, covers more than 125 million products.
“This move is designed to make selling on Amazon more lucrative and easier, especially for small businesses and entrepreneurs in tier 2 and 3 cities,” Reuters quoted Amit Nandu, director of Selling Partner Services for Amazon India as saying.
According to Amazon’s statement in December, it will expand its AI infrastructure and invest more than $35 billion in India by 2030, with a focus on growing retail logistics and accelerating the growth of small businesses.
