South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava presented ‘Employee of the Month’ safety awards to 10 employees in recognition of their dedication and vigilance in preventing hazardous conditions. The awards were presented to front-line staff, including track maintainers, switchmen, engineers, conductors, station masters and locomotive pilots. The awardees included five from Guntakal division, three from Vijayawada division and two each from Secunderabad and Nanded divisions. Mr. Srivastava emphasized that safety standards must never be compromised. He also stressed the need to sensitize employees to strengthen fire prevention measures, conduct regular checks on switches and crossings and ensure removal of construction material from nearby tracks after work is completed, a press release said on Monday.
