Water Resources Minister and Minister-in-Charge East Godavari Nimmala Rama Naidu on Monday claimed that as many as 4,222 individuals have been adopted by 27,333 families under a People-Public-Private Partnership called P4 in East Godavari district. The goal of P4 is to eradicate poverty. Under the project, the recipient’s family is given the title “Bangaru Kutumbam” and the donor is called “Margadarshi”.
During the P4 anniversary celebrations, Mr. Rama Naidu addressed the beneficiaries that as many as 67,801 ‘Bangaru’ families have been identified for adoption and upliftment.
