Kakatiya University plans to sign MoUs with three German universities
Kakatiya University Vice-Chancellor Pratap Reddy and RUSA 2.0 Nodal Officer R. Mallikarjuna Reddy with Director, External Relations, RWTH Aachen University, in Germany on June 1.
Kakatiya University has begun the process of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with three universities in Germany to strengthen academic and research collaboration as part of its internationalization efforts.
Vice-Chancellor K. Pratap Reddy presented Letters of Intent (LoIs) to the International Relations Offices of RWTH Aachen University, Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences and University of Göttingen during his visit to the institutions on June 1.
The discussions were held in the presence of Higher Education Secretary Yogita Rana, RUSA 2.0 State Project Project Leader Soundarya Joseph, RUSA 2.0 Node Leader R. Mallikarjuna Reddy and Osmania University Vice-Chancellor M. Kumar.
According to a university report, the proposed MoUs are expected to facilitate student-faculty exchange programmes, joint research, opportunities for higher studies, participation in summer and winter schools and other academic collaborations between Kakatiya University and German institutions.
