Former Tenkasi MP Vasanthi Murugesan is all set to contest the April 23 election from Sankarankoil Assembly constituency as the All India Puratchi Thalaivar Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AIPTMMK). VK Sasikala, who recently joined the party, on Sunday released her list of candidates for 21 constituencies for the upcoming Tamil Nadu assembly elections.
The party also allotted three seats to two of its allies – Pasumpon Makkal Desam Katchi and Vellalar Munnetra Kazhagam. AIPTMMK also named candidates for Colachel, Dindigul, Madurai Central, Manamadurai, Mannargudi, Mayiladuthurai, Melur, Muthukulathur, Nanguneri, Paramakudi, Rajapalayam, Sivaganga, Sivakasi, Sriperumbudur, Srirangam, Tenmkasi, Thirumangadi, Thirumang Tirupparankundaram.
AIPTMMK allotted Alangulam and Sattur Pasumpon Makkal Desam Katchi and Nannilam Vellalar Munnetra Kazhagam constituencies.
