Noida International Airport, also known as Jewar Airport, is located in the Jewar area of Gautam Buddha Nagar district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.

- Union Minister for Civil Aviation Ram Mohan Naidu said, “Because Delhi, the capital, the heart of the country, has found a second heartbeat today. This magnificent airport, Jewar Airport, is spread over 3000 acres at a cost ₹11,200 crore, with its 4-km runway, is fully capable of international air traffic. The most important aspect of Jewar Terminal is that when you come here, you will experience the pride and identity of Uttar Pradesh.”
- Touted to be one of the largest infrastructure projects in India, the airport is being developed in four phases at an estimated cost of ₹29,560 crore and received initial approval from the central government in 2018, PTI reported.
- Once the airport is fully operational, Uttar Pradesh will become the first state in India to have five international airports and will serve as a multi-modal transport hub linking road, rail and metro networks, significantly improving connectivity across the National Capital Region and North India.
