The next time you order food or step into a restaurant, it might be worth checking out the latest Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) inspection report. The CMC has released the hygiene scores of 39 restaurants, cafes, schools, central kitchens and other food establishments inspected by the corporation’s food safety team in June, with ratings ranging from 18% to 94%, highlighting wide variations in food safety and hygiene standards.
. While some popular restaurants and schools received top ratings, several well-known restaurants and food businesses were stopped for poor hygiene, prompting notices to improve and other enforcement measures.
Five establishments shared the highest hygiene score of 94%. These included 10 Pounder Pizzeria near SMR Vinay Technopolis, PVR Inox at Inorbit Mall, Cinepolis at Lulu Mall, Chirec International School at Kondapur and The Gaudium School at Kollur. Rameshwaram Cafe near Image Gardens followed with 93% while Sattibabu Biryani near KIMS, Kondapur scored 92%.

Among other prominent businesses, KFC in Nizampet got 86%, Inox in GSM Mall, Madeenaguda got 85% while Antera in Madeenaguda got 83%. KS Bakers, Chinese Wok in GSM Mall and Glendale International School Cambridge in Gopanpally scored 82% each.
Rating between 18% and 56%
At the other end of the spectrum, Royal Spice Restaurant in Gachibowli received the lowest hygiene score of 18%. Zayaka Food Court near AMB Mall scored 25%, Platform 65 in PNR Empire scored 37% and Bahar Café in Madeenaguda scored 40%. Food Planet in Chandanagar, Lingampally scored 51%, Swagruha Foods in Gajularamaram scored 54% while The Spice Kitchen in PNR Empire scored 56%.
Between 60% and 67%
Several other popular businesses fell in the middle of the rankings. La Pino’z Pizza in Jubilee Enclave, Mehfil Restaurant in Hitec City, Ideal Kitchen in Madhapur and Pancha Kattu Dosa in Nizampet scored 67% each. Shah Ghouse restaurant on Raidurg-Gachubowli Road and Protein Chef scored 65% while Zomato Hyperpure warehouse at IDA Kukatpally scored 63%. Kodikura Chittigare scored 62%, Iguru Restaurant 61% and Subway, Kanchi Café and Palamuru Grill Bar & Restaurant scored 60% each.
