Nara Bhuvaneswari, wife of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, on Thursday said that a comprehensive development plan is being implemented for Kuppam Assembly constituency in Chittoor district focusing on industrial growth, welfare systems and infrastructure.
On the third day of her four-day tour, Ms. Bhuvaneswari attended a breakfast meeting with local Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders at Shivapuram in Shantipuram mandal and inaugurated the Anna Canteen.
Addressing party cadres, she mentioned social measures introduced during NTR’s tenure, including subsidized rice schemes and property rights for women. She said that the present administration, led by N. Chandrababu Naidu, was implementing programs aimed at job creation, housing and social security.
She noted that investments in industries such as data centers and steel are expected to create local employment. She also mentioned the ongoing initiatives including free gas cylinders, financial assistance schemes, solar installations and water supply projects under Handri-Neeva.
Later, Ms. Bhuvaneswari unveiled statues of her father and former Chief Minister, NT Rama Rao, at Ramakuppam and Manendram and interacted with women’s groups in Balla village, besides visiting Govindapalli village to console the family of the late party worker.
