Elaborate arrangements have been made for the ‘Sri Sita Rama Kalyana Mahotsavam’ to be held at Mithila Stadium in Bhadrachalam, Bhadradri Kothagudem district on Friday on the occasion of Rama Navami.
According to official sources, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will present ‘mutyala talambralu’ and ‘pattu vastrams’ at the celestial wedding in accordance with ancient temple traditions.
Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka will accompany the Chief Minister.
The heavenly wedding will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m
The Chief Minister will perform Bhoomi Puja later in the day for the temple construction work worth around ₹ 351 crore.
About 2,000 police officers were deployed as part of the bandobuses. The historic Sri Seetha Ramachandra Swamy Temple in Bhadrachalam was decorated with serial lighting.
