VMS Mohammed Mubarak-led Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), Thamimun Ansari-led Manithaneya Jananayaga Katchi (MJK) and actor Karunas-led Mukkulathor Puli Padai (MPP) won one seat each as part of the DMK-led Secular Progressive Assembly for a sensational election.
Officials of these parties met the DMK delegation at Anna Arivalayam, the party headquarters in Chennai, on Wednesday. All these parties will contest the DMK’s ‘Rising Sun’ symbol and their respective seats will be finalized on Thursday.
