
Nara Bhuvaneswari, wife of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, addressed the participants of a job mela at Kuppam on Wednesday.
Nara Bhuvaneswari, wife of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, inaugurated a job mela at the Government Degree College here on Wednesday (March 25) and later interacted with women of Pedda Kotamakana Palli village on the topics of employment generation, industrial growth and social initiatives in Kuppam constituency.
Addressing the students, she urged the youth to think innovatively, set clear goals and rely on hard work. She noted that several companies had signed up to offer around 5,000 jobs during the event and reiterated the government’s focus on large-scale job creation.
She told the meeting that the government’s aim is to transform Kuppam into ‘Swarna Kuppam’ through investment and infrastructure. She said 17 industrial units worth over ₹ 7,121 crore have been transferred to the constituency. She also mentioned Adidas’ proposed footwear manufacturing unit and steps to promote solar energy.
Ms Bhuvaneswari highlighted welfare measures including pensions, ‘Thalliki Vandanam’ benefits and health services through Sanjeevani clinics. She added that promotion of irrigation through Handri Neeva and improvement of civic amenities are expected to further enhance livelihood and development in the region.
