Political leaders in Andhra Pradesh have congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for completing 8,931 days at the helm of the government, one of the longest tenures in Indian history.
In a post on X on Monday, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu lauded Mr. Modi’s “visionary leadership and tireless determination” and said his journey reflected commitment to the nation’s progress. He said the Prime Minister’s vision of ‘Viksit Bharat by 2047’ continues to inspire and lead the country towards a brighter future.
In a report on X, Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan described the milestone as a reflection of “unwavering determination and a life dedicated to the service of Bharat”. He said Mr. Modi’s leadership, spanning his tenure as Gujarat Chief Minister and now as Prime Minister, has redefined governance through decisive action and a “Nation First” approach. Mr. Pawan Kalyan highlighted infrastructure development, digital transformation and improved global standing of India as key achievements.
YSR Congress Party President and former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy also congratulated the Prime Minister on X, calling the milestone a testament to “commitment and determination in public service”. He wished Mr. Modi continued strength and good health in the service of the nation. The milestone marks more than two decades of uninterrupted public leadership by Mr. Modi, who has won praise from leaders across party lines.
